The writer of the book of Hebrews writes in chapter 3:7-12 a warning against unbelief.

We are truly living in the last days that the Apostle Paul warned us about.  He wrote in his letter to Timothy in 1Timothy 4:1, "that in the later time some will abandon the faith" (what they once believed as truth).  It is so important in these days when the devil is so busy trying to get believers to turn from the truth, that we stand and know what we truly believe as the Word of God.

The Lord showed me a long time ago that there are three spirits roaming the earth today, trying to deceive the people of God, and the sinner.  As the Word of God and the Holy Spirit are going forth to convince people to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, these three spirits are convincing people to believe the lies of Hell.

Hebrews 3:7-12 tells us "take heed, that none of us have a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns us away from our God." The three spirits that I am talking about are Fear, Doubt, and Unbelief.

All over the world, people's hearts are failing with fear as they watch the terrifying events coming upon the earth.  Yet in all the devil is doing, we hear the voice of God saying to the Church, "Be steadfast, and be confident in all things unto the end."

Whenever terror is all around us, God says to His people, "Fear Not" whenever there is depression and despair, He calls us to increase our gladness and rejoice because He has everything under control.

I was in New York City on September 11, 2001 visiting my family.  What a horrible day it was as the events of the World Trade Towers unfolded.  I watched from the roof of my mother's highrise building as the police and fire rescue teams raced to downtown Manhattan.  How could such a terrible thing happen here in the U.S.A?

But as we were in service just some time ago, the Spirit of God spoke to us and said, "Something is coming that will affect everyone, but if you keep your eyes on Me, and follow Me, and serve Me, it will not destroy you."

My friend, something more horrible than 9/11 is coming upon planet earth, upon America.  Everyone will be touched by it but the true Believer in Christ will not be destroyed.  God has been trying to get our attention for a long time now. First, He is trying to wake up a lost world.  Second, He is trying to wake up the Church.

The devil wants you to doubt your salvation, your experience with God, and your future.  Denominations worldwide are now turning away from things they have believed in for years.  There are preachers in pulpits, people in church houses around this world who no longer believe in the virgin birth and in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.  They no longer preach or speak about the blood of Jesus.  They no longer believe in the Holy Spirit, or the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  We must as Christians, believer's of the faith, renew our committment to our beliefs.  It is vital in these last days to stand for the truth of God's Word.

We here at P4L hold true to our Declaration of Faith.  My friend, the world is full of violence, terrorism, financial crises, apostasy, panic, fear, doubt, unbelief, temptations, sexual misconduct, and the assault on Christians.

Satan is bent on waging war on the Saints, trying to tear down their confidence in God and His Word.  In the world, things will grow worse but those who hold on to the faith will not be moved.  The only way the church of God will make it in these last days is to have a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Throughout the Word of God, we have seen time and time again that God has always kept His people in time of trouble. We are faced today with exhausting problems and situations, personal problems, family problems, and financial problems.  Our economy needs a healing, people are losing jobs, their homes, and their health.  The war continues, terrorism continues, wickedness is on every hand.

What will we do?  Who can we call?  We must turn to the Lord Jesus Christ, ask Him to forgive us of our sins, and stand firm in the faith.  The Bible says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Draw near unto God and He will draw near to you.
